Controlling Wins Ballarat Vic Breeders Decider

WELL-bred youngster Controlling took out a quality Ballarat Vic Breeders final (450m) in a fast 25.27 to claim the first victory of his career.

The son of Fernando Bale and Veetee Saharrah began beautifully from two, reeling off splits of 6.53 and 11.32 before defeating Caribbean Red and New Echo to claim the $7500-to-the-winner final.
Trained by Paul Anderton, the black chaser ran second in his first two race appearances, but saved his best for the final to highlight his potential going forward.
Controlling is a brother to Deliver – a greyhound who took out the Maiden Final at The Meadows on June 2 in an impressive 30.12.
