Brother Fox Carnival Grows In Stature

Dubbo Greyhound Racing Club is thrilled to announce the addition of a Tuesday twilight meeting for the inaugural Ladbrokes Brother Fox Carnival.
Dubbo Greyhound Racing Club is thrilled to announce in conjunction with Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) the addition of a Tuesday twilight meeting, on May 25, 2021, to the inaugural Ladbrokes Brother Fox Carnival.
The decision was made to provide more racing opportunities for all distances in the lead up to the showcase feature finals which will be held on May 28.
In announcing the decision, Club President Shayne Stiff said that it was terrific to see the greyhound community deliver more for the region.
"Our Secretary, Courtney Norbury and the Dubbo GRC Committee have been able to promote the Club to a point where people want to be involved,” Stiff said..
"The Hallinan and Smith families are a part of our fabric too and so having Zipping Garth at Stud and Feral Franky at Stud on board is sensational," Stiff said.
"It seems appropriate that two of the country's boom sires will headline two up and comers' events," Stiff added.
The Zipping Garth at Stud series will be run over the 318m for maiden greyhounds with the final to carry $10,000 to the winner, $1,500 second and $1,000 third.
While the Feral Franky at Stud will be run as a 4/5th Grade 400m series with the final to carry $10,000 to the winner, $1,500 second and $1,000 third.
Both events will have heats conducted Tuesday, May 25 with finals part of a massive card of racing, on Friday, May 28.
The announcement comes only a few weeks after the Club announced with its partner Ladbrokes that the annual flagship race will now be the Ladbrokes Brother Fox and carry $40,000 to the winner.
