ANGELA Langton has elected to retire her three-time group winning bitch Circle Of Dreams after injuring a hock at Sandown Park on Thursday night.

Winner of last year's Group 1 National Futurity at Wentworth Park in sensational fashion, the daughter of Barcia Bale solidified her standing as the best young bitch progressing through the ranks with further feature wins in the Group 2 Laurels and Queensland Futurity.

"She's sore in a hock after Thursday night so I've decided to retire her," said Angela Langton.

Showing her customary early dash to lead on Thursday night, the three-time group winner faded turning for home, suggesting something had gone amiss.

"She never really came back from her hock injury in the Perth Oaks which she was favourite for," Langton added.

Victorious at 13 of her 39 appearances, Circle Of Dreams retires with earnings of $235,000 and a lucrative career in the breeding barn awaiting the fashionably bred chaser.

Such was the rise to prominence of Circle Of Dreams, the May 2017 whelp, which turns three on Saturday, earned an invite to the 2019 Group 1 Temlee at The Meadows at just start 12.

Circle Of Dreams hails from a sensational litter, the crop from Barcia Bale and Mepunga Mia producing some stars of the track, including Million Dollar Chase finalist Flying Bazza, along with prolific winning gallopers Mepunga Wonder, Spearhead, Steinbrenner and Mepunga Frankie.

In total the litter boast 86 wins from 280 starts with stake earnings rapidly approaching $600,000.
