Sizzling Sandown Winner Ready To Launch

PRODIGIOUS talent Jim Zarr Dashian has shot to stardom with a gob-smacking 29.02 Sandown Park victory on Friday night.

Trained by Jamie Ennis, the son of Kinloch Brae and Kim Zarr Dashian was stepping out for just his fifth race start at Sandown Park on Friday, his most recent victory a sizzling 24.99 Ballarat success on January 8.

After a moderate beginning as the well-supported $2.10 favourite, the two-year old chaser powered away through the catching pen, leaving his rivals in his wake.

At the finish he had 12 lengths on his nearest rival, runner-up Starry's Lad.

The well bred commodity has shot to the top of the ranks for March's lucrative Launching Pad series at Sandown Park, his superb winning time on Friday inside the top 10 ever recorded at the circuit.

Before Friday night's rampaging performance trainer Jamie Ennis had earmarked the series for his budding star and it's fair to suggest little would have changed following his mesmerising display.

Owned and bred by NSW-based Colin Miller, Jim Zarr Dashian is from a talented litter that includes the Reg Gardoll-trained I'm Zarr Rock, winner of the Bathurst Soldiers Saddle series last month.
