FORMER sprint sensation Pindari Express is getting his first offspring to the racetrack and they are showing great potential.

Greg and Christine Hancock won on Tuesday at Casino with Express Dudette (Pindari Express-Hitchiker Dude) which followed the Grafton win by her litter brother Cobber Dude on Monday.

“We've got eight in the litter and they are all showing great promise,” said Christine Hancock.

“They all broke in with good reports and there is not a lot between them. They are all looking for 450 metres already.”

Express Dudette ran 23.68 to win her maiden on debut on Tuesday.

Her litter brother Who Roux Dude was unplaced in the same race but Christine said he bogged down on the rails on the heavy track.

Cobber Dude ran 20.21 wining a Maiden at Grafton by five lengths off a wide draw on Monday.

“He is promising but already the 350 metres is too short for him,” said Christine.

First on the phone to congratulate Greg and Christine was Pindari Express' owner, studmaster Tracey Scruse.

“Tracey was over the moon when she rang us to congratulate us,” said Christine.

Pindari Express (Fabregas-Brook's Doll) was an outstanding race dog setting track records at Bulli and Maitland, winning the Bulli Gold Cup and Gold Plate and making the Million Dollar Chase final.

Hitchiker Dude (Cosmic Rumble-I'm A Player) was the second bitch to be mated to Pindari Express.

Cobber Dude and his littermates are bred on a strong 2×3 cross of Brooks Doll and Spiritual Rumble who are virtual sisters.

The Hancocks purposely bred the litter to achieve this cross.

“There have been quite a few people watching our pups as they started trialling getting ready to race,” said Christine.

“These include Steve Kavanagh whose bitch Joyce Rumble has a Pindari Express litter.

“And, Fred Swain who put his very good bitch Tribal Magic to Pindari Express.

“She is heavily in pup to him.”
