LEADING WA trainer Graham Crudelli says Hecton Bale has it all, Group 1 ability, strength and an aggressive nature broodbitch owners will love.

GRAHAM Crudelli says Hecton Bale has it all, Group 1 ability, strength and an aggressive nature broodbitch owners will love.

All of those attributes are the basis for the Crudelli family over in WA giving Group 1 Australian Cup winner Hecton Bale his chance at stud.

Wheeler bred, by champion Fernando Bale from champion Barcia Bale's genetic sister Searle Bale (Dyna Lachlan-Princess Bale), Hecton Bale has all the credentials needed for success at stud.

Obviously, he has the race stats of 67 starts for 21 wins and 22 placings for $476,000 in stakes to attract even the most discerning of broodbitch owners.

His victory in the 2018 Australian Cup came as a power boost for the then early stud career of his famous father Fernando Bale, and when he stretched his speed to 600m to win the Maidment Memorial it was cemented.

Hecton Bale was a consistently high class race dog, also finishing third in the G1 Perth Cup and then the next year came out and finished second in the Cup.

Add to that he was a finalist in the G1 Topgun, Harrison Dawson and Rookie Rebel.

No one hit wonder, Hecton Bale's litter brother Mossimo Bale (22 wins, $155,000) won the G2 Cranbourne Cup and the litter also included Group class Lila Bale (19 wins, $98,000) and Gray Bale (11 wins, $42,000).

Their dam Searle Bale, a litter sister to Group stars Tomac Bale, Musquin Bale, Purcell Bale, Quiz Bale, Nico Bale and Osbourne Bale, won 10 races and $53,000.

Purcell Bale is the dam of Allen Mike (23 wins, $114,000) and Dyna Wazza (20 wins, $93,000) while Quiz Bale is the dam of Daithy Allen (10 wins, $61,000) and Allen Dynamo (14 wins, $61,000).

It is the Wheeler's most dominant family at the moment.

Thus Hecton Bale carries to stud a dynamic formula for success.

His pedigree is saturated with the Wheeler's foundation bitch Gail's Beauty.

With his dam being a virtual sister to Barcia Bale, his mating options are endless.

Whatever works for Barcia Bale should work for Hecton Bale.

Already WA breeders have accepted him.

One of his earliest matings was to the classy WA stayer Petunia Monelli (Bella Infrared-Lara Monelli) the winner of 11 of her 32 starts and a top class stayer and $75,000.

Wenty distance winner Serisier Street, the 20-times winner Dubliner, long-time dog man Frank Hand's Rusty Towbar (15 wins), and the classy Cheezy Allen (24 wins) have been mated to him.

Hecton Bale is a Wheeler-bred Group 1 star with strength waiting for broodbitch owners.

He is a fabulous alternative to champion sires Fernando Bale and Barcia Bale because he brings in the influences of both.

Pedigrees By Design has no hesitation in recommending him to broodbitch owners. Standing at $1500 – he offers breeders terrific value.
