Hooked On Scotch Sires First Litter

TOBY Weekes took one look at the three dogs and three bitches, the first litter whelped by Hooked On Scotch, and declared “none are for sale”.

The NSW breeder whelped three days ago the litter from Lagoon Prissy (Cosmic Rumble-Lagoon Lowanna).

“I sent Darren Puleio a picture of the pups today and he immediately sent back that one of them looks identical to Out Of Range,” said Toby.

Out Of Range is a group 1 winning Fernando Bale-Nicki Fields half-brother to Hooked On Scotch (by Barcia Bale).

“We got three big white pups that are magnificent,” said Toby.

“They are the biggest pups I've had on the place at this age.”

Weekes has plumped for Hooked On Scotch to make it at stud.

“Super dog, super fast,” he said.

“And he's got the pedigree to make it.

“A couple of the early sons of Barcia Bale to have pups racing are showing great promise. I especially like Ritza Lenny's pups.”

Lagoon Prissy has a Barcia Bale litter racing and showing promise and her second litter, by Fernando Bale, have broken in with great reports.

“No,” said Toby,

“I won't be selling any of these.”
