ONLY 10 vials of semen for champion stud dog Barcia Bale remain for sale.

Meticulous Lodge principals, Paul and Michelle Westerveld, announced this on Sunday.

Barcia Bale (Go Wild Teddy-Princess Bale) has been a stud dog phenomenon, the sire of the winners of $79 million in prizemoney since his offspring first started racing back in 2014.

His best progeny are like a “who's who” of world greyhound racing.

His champion son Dyna Double One (31 wins, $1.16 million) gave Barcia Bale a staggering start to his stud career.

Barcia Bale then tossed up Group 1 stars like Aston Dee Bee (35 wins, $798,000), the inaugural Million Dollar Chase winner Mystic Riot (12 wins, $1.056 million), Simon Told Helen (26 wins, $913,000), Shima Shine (37 wins, $729,000), Barooga Brett (27 wins, $417,000), Zipping Bailey (21 wins, $371,000), Hooked On Scotch (16 wins, $365,000) and the list goes on and on and on.

“Yes, we have only 10 vials left for sale,” Paul Westerveld said.

“But, we also have three we have kept for ourselves, and the Wheeler family have 15 as well.

The Westervelds are rightly proud of the performance of the dog.

“Have a look at the matings he has had,” said Paul.

“Fasttrack has page after page after page on his matings.

“To his credit his fertility never wavered throughout his career. He put in size, great chase and the number of Group performers he sired are endless.

“But his legacy is only starting. His daughters are already proving hugely successful.”
