Donna Ricca, dam of Moreira, is a daughter of champion stud dog Collision. Her mother, Brooklyn Belle is a daughter of champion sire Where's Pedro.

Donna Ricca is in-bred 3×3 to champion sire Malawi's Prince. In Donna Ricca's pedigree are legends Brett Lee, Awesome Assassin, Light Of Fire, Brother Fox, Shining Chariot … it goes on and on and on!

Superstar trainer Jason Thompson prepared Moreira for most of his race career one that saw him star 42 times for 16 wins, nine seconds and five thirds for $375,000 in stakes.

His victory in the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg and the Maidment Memorial added to his second to champion Dyna Double One in the Group 1 Rookie Rebel and finals berths in the Group 1 Australian Cup and Silver Chief.

Like most of Kinloch Brae's Aussie offspring, Moreira could sprint with the best of them, and then stretch that speed to at least a middle distance.

Second dam Brooklyn Belle was a finalist in the Group 1 Sapphire Crown.

Third dam Brooklyn Haze is a half sister to Brooklyn Doll who was placed in both the Laurels and Maturity.

Fourth dam Brooklyn Mood was a finalist in the Shepparton Cup.

And Moreira traces directly along his tail female line to the same female family as Hall of Famer Rapid Journey.

Collision, damsire of Moreira and a VERY important ancestor in his make-up, works spectacularly with bitches that carry Token Prince. He will be an important ancestor in bitches mated to Moreira because he will balance the two daughter strains of Malawi's Prince already in Moreira's dam.

Collision is a breed shaper in his own right. The fact he comes via a daughter in the pedigree of Moreira is important. This means Moreira can mate bitches that bring in SONS of Collision … especially High Earner whose daughters are already showing their ability at stud.

A special cross can be introduced via daughters of English Derby winner Taylor's Sky and his sire, legend Westmead Hawk. They bring in a cross of Smooth Rumble a half brother to Collision's dam Rumble Spirit. This cross is found in Group stars Diego Bale and Usain I'm Nutty.

Brett Lee, coming through his SON Where's Pedro, can also be utilised to a great degree. In fact, bitches who carry Brett Lee through a DAUGHTER will be very important in the success of Moreira at stud.

Those stud dogs with DAUGHTERS of Brett Lee will be vital to Moreira's success. These include Cosmic Rumble, Lochinvar Marlow, the brothers Swift Fancy and Smooth Fancy, and Oaks Road of course.

The fact Where's Pedro comes into the pedigree of Moreira via a DAUGHTER means bitches with a SON of Where's Pedro in their pedigree will also be ideal as mates for the Golden Easter Egg winner.

This can be sourced via daughters of El Grand Senor, El Galo (a broodbitch sire goldmine), Cape Hawke, Mogambo (of course), Fancy Dean, Hoover Boy and Fantastic Spiral, Destini Fireball, General Destini, Zulu Zeus etc etc etc.

Knocka Norris was a superstar on the racetrack and, despite being sold to China, has become a high class stud dog. His daughters are already producing Group stars.

Kinloch Brae's champion son Ballymac Vic is out of a daughter of Aussie stud dog Elite State (the sire of Knocka Norris).

Also in the damline of Moreira is a cross of Pop Gun. When Pop Gun has met up with his litter brother National Star in pedigrees, it can upgrade for great success. National Star is found in the damline of Solve The Puzzle.

A VERY interesting mating for the future will be daughters of Banjo Boy to Moreira.

Banjo Boy's damsire is US siring great Flying Penske (found in numerous pedigrees in Australia) and Banjo Boy is already having exceptional results when mated to daughter of Kinloch Brae. The reverse MUST be worth trying.

Daughters of stud success Fabregas will also be a particular hit when mated to Moreira. Fabregas carries a cross of Irish stud great Larkhill Jo in his damline. And Larkhill Jo's influence in the best progeny of Kinloch Brae in Ireland and England is profound.
