Not Available Chasing Group 1 Glory

CHURCHABLE trainer Steve Scott is hoping owner Paul Roach can find him a couple of “giveaways” to train.

He said this after the country's most successful giveaway Not Available brilliantly won a heat of the Group1 Winter Cup (520m) at Albion Park last Thursday night.

He ran a very fast 29.65 to win by almost four lengths over Jury with two lengths to Cyn's Magic in third.

Scott was sent Not Available by trainer Robbie Britton, along with kennelmate Benali, to prepare for the Cup series.

“He came up here last year for the Brisbane Cup but got flattened early,” said Steve.

“He's a lovely dog and when he came up with the rails we thought he was a great chance.

“He's been here for a while, coming up with the stayers when Robbie brought them up for the Gold Cup.”

The dog will head back to Victoria after this week's final.
