Nothing Slow About Georgiou's Exciting Litter

QUEENSLAND trainer Chris Georgiou was part of the onslaught of Group star Hasten Slowly when he was taken north for Group success by Angela Langton.

Georgiou has had a number of dogs trained by Angela with great success over the past decade and has an intimate knowledge of the kennel's stars.

“That dog (Hasten Slowly) would run through a brick wall,” Chris said.

And that's why he made sure his star race bitch Alpha Demeter (Cosmic Rumble-Queen Of Cyprus) was mated to Hasten Slowly to produce two dogs and four bitches back in May, 2020.

And reports of the early education of the pups is highly encouraging.

“Angela has the two dogs in Victoria and the black dog has broken in exceptionally,” Chris said.

“But the three bitches I have here I had to educate myself because all the breaking in tracks have been full.

“Six weeks ago these bitches were still in a paddock, but here they are running time already.

“In fact, one of the bitches went 20.03 at her very first trial over 331 metres at Albion Park. She is already planned to join Angela's kennel very soon.”

Georgiou described the pups as great types with fantastic natures.

Their dam Alpha Demeter was a multiple Sandown and The Meadows winner and second in the Group 3 Silver Bullet.

Her first litter, by Hasten Slowly's sire Fernando Bale, includes Do It (2nd G2 Flying Amy Classic), Mr Fix It (3rd G1 Maturity) and Paint Face (finalist G2 Qld Futurity).
