FORMER superstar race dog Feral Franky has had his first Queensland-bred litter whelped.
It is four dogs and two bitches from former quality race bitch Waikarie Magic (Train A Journey-Arabian Magic Tu) and the pups were whelped on Sunday for breeder Brian Baker.
Waikarie Magic was third in the Group 3 Casino Cup and a finalist in the Group 2 Ipswich Auction.
She raced 90 times for 14 wins and 30 placings earning $53,000 for Baker and came from a litter of eight that won 75 races and almost $200,000 in stakes.
This is the second litter for Waikarie Magic whose first offspring, by Brad Hill Billy, have all won and include Waikarie Bell (7 wins, $29,000) and Waikarie Willow (9 wins, $25,000) etc.
Baker also reports his former star race bitch Wheatacre (Velocette-Clair Vision) has finally come on season and will be mated to G1 star and Albion Park track record holder Sennachie.
Wheatacre was a finalist in the G3 Gold Coast Cup and the winner of 21 raced and $55,000 in stakes.
