THERE are 10 races to be decided at Wentworth Park on Saturday night and while it’s not a vintage card by any stretch there’s some good value to be had.

I’m tipping a couple of bitches to get the job done in Super Estrella and Irinka Molly which I think will play a leading hand in next week’s Group 3 Ladies Bracelet heats.

FIELDS AND FORM WENTWORTH PARK SATURDAY NIGHT

Race 4 Number 8 – SUPER ESTRELLA – $3.30

Yet to win from box eight but think this race maps in her favour. Racing in great fashion to finish in the minors at her past three and can see her just camping off a hot pace here tonight and finishing off strongly and hopefully landing the prize. Expecting a really forward showing.

Race 5 Number 1 – IRINKA MOLLY – $1.70

No prizes for finding her at the $1.70 but she really does look the bet of the night. Good beginner that’s improving with every run and the red box is ideal. Used the draw to score here last week in a slick 29.72 and only needs to repeat that effort to get the job done again tonight.

Race 9 Number 5 – BLACK CHILLI – $2.40

Yes, he’s frustrating … very frustrating in fact but if he puts his best foot forward he gets away with this assignment. The $2.40 on offer currently is the bottom of the market and his most recent run was average but he should get a decent run early from the middle draw and from there his distinct class edge should see him home. Running out of chances though.

Best Value

Race 1 Number 4 – CAPE FERNANDO – $6.00

Tricky race the opener and at the decent each-way odds Cape Fernando can give punters a decent run for their money. Tidy second last week when leading up and if he repeats that effort tonight expect he’s in the finish. Favourite Jackpot Josie has been flying on her resumption to racing and is the one to beat, she shares top billing with Opinions off the inside.

Race 3 Number 3 PRIM AND PROPER – $5.50

Really even staying contest where five of the seven runners are given a serious winning chance in betting. I’m expecting Prim and Proper to find the front and providing she pinches a margin mid race might just sneak away with this. Was run down late last week by Zipping Niseko which she meets again in this, promises to be a terrific clash with some talented stayers engaged.
