WATCH: Space Star's 10 Length Gold Cup Win

In the lead up to Saturday night's Group 3 Gold Cup heats at Wentworth Park we go back to 2015 and check out Space Star's 10 length romp in the $25,000 to-the-winner feature for owner Michael Ivers and trainer Rob Britton.

Space Star's Gold Cup success was his sixth victory from as many appearances at Wentworth Park that year, with the son of Bekim Bale and Tonto Tears having previously won a heat and final of both the Group 1 Association Cup and Group 2 Summer Distance Plate at the Glebe circuit.

As well as his Wentworth Park successes, Space Star headed into the Gold Cup also as the winner of the Group 1 Galaxy at Cannington and Group 1 Zoom Top at The Meadows – events his close relation Tornado Tears will have captured also if successful at Cannington, in the Group 1 Galaxy, this Saturday night.
