“She does tend to be a bit of a mid-tracker.”

But Nick, studmaster at Newhaven Stud in Victoria, believes Yuko Girl's real success will come when she goes to stud.

“She is by a great sire, and her damline is mostly US and great US bloodlines. That will be her bonus.”

Nick reports that Yuko Girl's dam, Yuko (Kiowa Mon Manny-Destini Warrior) is in pup to US stud great Superior Panama.

“Yes, she is certainly having pups from the look of her,” said Nick.

“It's very exciting. We will keep a couple but sell the rest.”

The mating is a saturation of the famed Representation damline, one of the greatest in the US with that bitch being in the Hall of Fame.

Nick also reports Group 3 Ladies Bracelet winner Pay Call (Moreira-Mrs Thursday) has whelped to her mating to Million Dollar Chase winner Handsome Prince.

“She had eight pups, six dogs and two bitches, all fawn and brindles,” he said.

“And they are magnificent pups too.”

Shakeel Latimer raced both sire and dam.

Pay Call ran 29.44 at Wentworth Park winning the Ladies Bracelet which at the time was the fastest by a female at the track.

She was third in the Super Sprinters at Albion Park and a finalist in the Black Top.
